Working in Partnership within Northern Ireland and beyond
The Hummingbird Project works best when in partnership with organisations who are at the grass roots of our communities. We want you to meet some of our friends, partners and funders…

In 2018 PwC NI issued a challenge to community organisations to help them tackle the difficult issue of suicide in Northern Ireland. We answered that challenge and together with PwC, Bytes Project and Kippie C.I.C. we launched the successful Into Tomorrow programme. Two years on and counting, we have directly impacted the lives of over 30 young adults who were most at risk of suicide, inspiring them to take control of their lives, change their outlook on the future and build resilience in their emotional health.

The Hummingbird Project was invited to participate in the Inclusive Economy Partnership in 2020. The Inclusive Economy Partnership’s mission is to unleash potential through a new partnership model between business, civil society and government; one that enriches lives to build a more inclusive society. As the only NI organisation ever to be included in the Boost Programme, we are forging new alliances and partnerships across the UK, bringing our innovations to solve mental health issues and elevate lived experience for good.
The Inclusive Economy Partnership

Early in 2021 we have received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to put people with lived experience of mental ill-health, and their carers, in the lead to achieve greater knowledge equity with their learned and practice experience colleagues. This vital work brings together the voices of those who are impacted by services and advocates for their experiences to shape and improve systems and services of the future.
